1 World, 1 Nation

letter from a Veteran

"One World, One people, is what I have been admonishing on people, that
I have known and met for a very long time.  So you can understand why
I can relate to your concept.  I am 36 yrs old and just by another
coincidence, I am also a Desert Storm Veteran.  I was in the army
as a Electronice Warfare and Communications Intelligence Analyst.
After I realized the underlying politics behind the Gulf War, I
could also say that I was not in agreement as to why we were there.
It seemed to be soley to benefit from the oil resources there. I saw
too much destruction to agree with why people could do this to
     themselves.
I did not feel to be a part of it. Mind you I did well in the army,
but I did not join it for a career.  I could not force myself to be in
what I called a "sub-society" within the reign of an already corrupt,
misled, misdirected, society that already exists here in the U.S.
I believe that people should have advanced their nature and
intelligence in another direction generations ago.  This need of
avarice for money is blowing the balance of goodness and  kindness
away.  A long time ago when people did not rely on money, they gave
each other things they needed, or bartered.  They helped each other
to almost be like one big family.  Somewhere alone the way someone-[had
to be an evil person]- decided the slip the object of money into the
picture and everything started going bad.
That is just a quick analyzation but it should be common
sense, even instinct, that tells people that we ALL are on ONE WORLD.
We should be able, even grown up enough to know how to live better
together.  Or at least work towards that goal, instead of away from
     it.
It doesn't take millions of dollars for one person to find him or
herself a nice home.  And we don't always have to lock ourselves away
from the outside all the time. We need to look towards each other for
progress, and insight.  We need to respect NATURE better-and be able
to see and learn more from what is around us, before we were even
     here!!"
