1 World, 1 Nation

The Future of our World

We live in a world filled with fear. We all have our fears, and some of the fears are universal. Almost all of us fear death. One of the more common deaths is from other humans. Occasionally an area has widespread deaths from other humans. To end this fear we must end these deaths. These deaths as you probably have guessed occur in war. We can end these deaths forever by uniting the world into one nation.

We must make one nation for ourselves and our children and their children to live in peace with a government containing governments. The global nation will allow for one currency that keeps its value. Science will excell with the greatest collections of scientists ever. The future generations can all be taught one language that will help with global understanding. Global protection of our environment. A preservation of all cultures and beliefs. Free trade can be established to bolster all economies. We can do this if we all make an effort. If we all form our opinions. This can be an accomplishment remembered forever.

Ending Warfare

In forming a government for the world we will end global warfare forever. Today more than ever this change needs to be done. Even countries that are not in a war have to worry. The nuclear weapons we have created could completely end our species if not just individual nations. With one nation nuclear weapons will no longer be usefull. Through time all could nuclear weopons could be dismantled. The only weopons that would be needed would be for civil disturbances. So the first reason for one nation is world peace.

Nation-States

Now we move onto another reason. Many of the world nations disappear due to war conquest or unification. Each country has unique laws for their unique wants beliefs and needs. We can model the global nation after past governments. We should allow each nation-state to determine laws for itself. The only universal laws would need a majority vote. The universal laws would be the laws made for the public interest. These nation-states will also have their old laws preserved. The global nation should have the old countries left in tact, but labeled as sections instead of countries. This will keep the sectional governments in tact. That completes the second reason.

A Stable, and Universal Currency

The third reason is to make a stable currency. This will be an end of our traditional currencys, marking the beginning of a new era. This new currency will be universally traded. No longer will we have to worry about exchange rates. Although people have made money through exchanging currencies usually the end amount is inflated. Inflation and deflation can be kept to a bare minimum. People on a fixed income would no longer have to worry about higher costs. The currency issue is therefore the third reason to think about in this purposal.

Science

Science is the next issue we must look at. Science conferences and projects will be simpler than ever after ending the need for permission to exit a nation and enter another nation. Also the global nation's government could sponser such events pulling the greatest minds together from all parts of the planet. The scientific discoveries will be quickly spread to every region in record breaking times. Ideas and resources can be shared, as an example let us look at the space program. If the Russians built thier ships in our manufacturing facilities, it would save them the cost of having one. The Russians would also whatch the US build their own ships while they stayed to have their ships built. While watching each others work they would share ideas. These ideas would lead to improvements in the space-crafts thet would have other wise been overlooked. That concludes the fourth reason.

A Common Language

This next reason is extremely beneficial to the world. We will teach all of the members of all the future generations to speak a universal language. This will help bring understanding between cultures. The language will help businesses in trade, leaders in globally instituted policies that will serve all people. Books will no longer need to be translated. Language barriers will no longer exist to stop people from obtaining their goals. This finishes the fifth reason.

Environmental Protection

The next reason to look at will solve one of our newly seen problems, which is pollution. Many countries are working to protect the environment. Each country makes it's own unique contribution. The environment is effected by all members of our species, for example if one country keeps our air clean by filtering smokestacks than that nations neighbors who concentrate on other environmental efforts will have their unfiltered smoke drift in to the first countries air. This now concludes the sixth reason.

Preservation of Cultures

Next we must look at a more personal reason, that of culture. We all have important cultures that we want to keep alive forever. We also don't want to be taunted for our beliefs. The global nation will not force a culture changes, but if a culture hurts another persons or peoples rights than the actions that the culture demands must be suppressed for the greater need of all. Also these cultures will be discussed and recorded globally to enrich peoples theological learning. So protection of cultures is the seventh reason.

Free Trade

Our next reason for a global nation is free trade. All sections will be able to trade without restrictive tariffs interfering. This will help spread new technology. Patent, and Copyright laws will be observed globally to protect the maker from abuse of the creators works. This will also help make products for another sections products. Free trade will also help poorer countries to buy ans sell products. This makes free trade the eigth reason to unite the world.

Eight reasons have been presented to you today. These are not the only reasons to form a global nation. After reading this, you may have thought of a reason that we have not thought of. We are looking for as much help as possible to spread these ideas. If in any way you could help please contact us. We need translators for our pages. Also we are always in need of more writers, and lastly money. We need money to get our own domain. We also need money for future publications, as well as a commercial server. Please send all your comments and questions to me, the author, Forest J. Handford, East Coast Games.
