The Virtue Test!

By Forest J. Handford

  1. How much time do you prefer to spend with a significant other (boyfriend, girlfriend, spouse, etc)?
All my time! I want to be with them when I eat, sleep, work, and play!
Most of the time. I like them to be with me often, but we don't need to be tied at the hip.
Some of the time. Other things are important in life, but I want them in my life too.
Seldom. Too much time means I miss out on other things in life and distance makes the heart grow fonder.
  1. Which of the following careers would you prefer?
    Judge
Law Enforcement (Police Officer, Lawyer, etc.)
Charity Work (Inner City Youth Program, Habitat for Humanity, Green Peace, etc.)
Religious Work (Priest, Minister, Rabbi, etc.)
  1. If you were playing a game and your character was about to get in an epic battle which strategy would you more likely take?
I would wait for allies to arrive and we would make a unified strike. I trust my allies.
I would get my closest allies and rush in. Allies are helpful but so is timing.
I would attack at the most opportune time. Allies can help, but timing is everything.
I would rush in for the surprise attack. I can't trust anybody but myself.
  1. If you had an income that supports your lifestyle and got $500 from an unexpected source how would you spend it? Again, this is money over what you need to live your current lifestyle.
    Gambling.
I would give it to somebody (a friend or charity).
I would invest it in a high risk investment (stocks, currency trading, etc).
I would put it in a low risk investment (high interest savings, mutual fund, gold, etc).
  1. If you were a firefighter alone in a burning building and you heard a cry for help in an area that your training tells you is too dangerous for you to get to without help what would you do?
Run in no matter what the personal risk is.
Call for backup and then run in.
    Get backup.
Call for backup and wait for help to arrive.
  1. How do you feel a suspected rapist who allegedly murdered his latest victim should be dealt with?
Have them tried by a jury of their peers. Let the defense get an equal chance to present evidence on their behalf.
A judge should be used without a jury.
You would decide based on what your religious text or leaders advised.
Have them killed and let God sort out the virtuous from the sinners.
  1. If you were/are a parent and your child began failing in school because of poor motivation how would you react?
By resolving to spend more time with them and set a good example.
Have them give up something non-educational (video games, television, dating, etc) until they improved their grades.
Have them give up a social activity, sport, or club until they improve their grades.
    All of the above.
