KIMANI Well, I'll have to bring you into the station for larceny, trespassing, and breaking and entering. LUKE Ma'am, we didn't steal these, we replaced … err … upgraded them. KIMANI (Shines light in Luke’s face) Explain. LUKE So, like, the school committee is requiring students to use bathrooms based on sex at birth and like, that’s not cool, we have trans and non-binary students here! Maybe intersex students too. We replaced the signs with all gender signs. (Kimani looks at the signs more closely) KIMANI (motions them to the door) Show me, both of you.
