I’m aiming to publish a page each Monday, until Fixing the System concludes. Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDoR) is observed on November 20th each year to honor those who have lost their lives due to transphobia and today. This year, as the co-lead of Home Chef’s LGBTQIA+ Employee Resource Group I hired Imara Jones, an Emmy and Peabody award-winning advocate for trans rights, to speak with us about TDoR. The event went well and I’ve gotten a lot of feedback from allies that they learned a ton and from community members that it was a really valuable talk.
